Threat Report 2018: State of internet security

A White House study published in January of 2018 estimated that malicious cyber activity cost the U.S. economy between $57 billion and $109 billion in 20161. An international report from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) revealed that cybercrime cost the world between $445 and $600 billion in 20172. Unfortunately, the increase in cyber-crime shows no signs of slowing and the first half of 2018 is already on a record setting pace for the highest number of cyber-attacks including Cryptojacking, DDoS, Compromised credentials and other types of online fraud.
